Property Development

With the limited supply and excess demand of commercial space in Hong Kong’s Central Business District (‘CBD’), an increasing number of companies have relocated their office to the Kowloon area. According to the 2011-12 Policy Address, Hong Kong government has laid out a HK$100 billion plan to expand 4 million square meters. of Grade A office space in East Kowloon and develop it into Hong Kong’s second CBD, with a comprehensive EFLS (Environmentally Friendly Linkage System) constructed linking up the area.

After our joint venture’s successful bidding of the land parcel in Kowloon Bay in August 2011, we are now constructing our Goldin Financial Global Centre, a landmark commercial building in this prime location of Kowloon East.

Goldin Financial Global Centre has recently completed construction and is scheduled for opening in the last quarter of 2016. With 27 floors and three levels of basements, it will offer a total of 79,200 square meters of space. The façades of the building are highly articulated with textured curtain walls. Glazing is inclined towards the ground on the south side to shade the façade and angled skywards on the north face to allow for increased interior lighting. Cantilevered cubes at the top of the building feature built-in LEDs that form a media wall giving the tower a bold identity that will be visible across Hong Kong.
